Braids are made from high-tensile steel wire for extra strength in high tension environments. The wire braids are covered with synthetic rubber (Nitrile) that is resistant to oil, chemicals and abrasion. This hydraulic hose meets or exceeds the performance requirements of SAE 100R2AT.
